During the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown, Diary of a Braamie began as comfort reading.

I started writing it as a way to escape the uncertainty of lockdown and give myself something to look forward to. Rather than keeping the story to myself, I began sharing it as a blog, allowing readers to follow along as the story unfolded.

What started as a personal creative outlet gradually found an audience. The blog eventually grew into a published book, and Diary of a Braamie went on to receive recognition from the African Authors Awards and the Emerge Africa Awards.
